The company needed to replace a self-managed virtual machine setup that was costly to maintain and struggled with stability, reliability, and scalability.

Google Cloud Platform helped Lufthansa Technik migrate AVIATAR to a serverless pipeline during COVID-19, with the project completed by the end of January 2021 and no downtime or customer disruption. The new platform improved operational efficiency and data insights, helping Lufthansa Technik better manage aircraft availability and turn unscheduled maintenance into planned events.
