Lootex Supporting smooth NFT trading with auto-scalable cloud computing resources

Lootex, a Taiwan-based startup running an NFT trading platform for in-game digital assets, needed a highly scalable and secure cloud environment to handle rapid traffic growth and frequent cyberattacks. As its marketplace expanded to more than 12,000 listed NFTs and about 80,000 monthly active users, Lootex turned to Google Cloud Platform, using services such as Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) to keep trading stable during traffic surges.

Google Cloud Platform, with support from Microfusion, implemented auto-scaling infrastructure, faster Kubernetes upgrades, and Google Cloud Armor for attack protection. The results included handling 12X to 15X traffic spikes during NFT launches, reducing website monitoring needs from several engineers to one, enabling cluster upgrades in minutes with no downtime, and stopping cyberattacks within four months of deployment.
