A Google Cloud Platform Case Study
Living Consumer Products, a Mumbai-based technology firm, operates the iCrushiFlush casual dating app and a Contextual Digital Platform (CDP) that uses app data for targeted digital marketing. Facing large data volumes, rapid user growth (around 20–25% year on year), strict cost constraints and limited engineering resources, the company needed a cloud solution that delivered high availability and scalability from day one without heavy operational overhead.
The company migrated both services to Google Cloud Platform in just 2.5 days, running on Compute Engine, Cloud Storage and Cloud SQL. The move delivered near-100% availability with no downtime, reduced infrastructure management to about one hour per month for their engineer, supported 4.8 million registered users (1.4 million monthly active), and helped generate roughly INR 45 crore in annualized CDP revenue while meeting performance and growth needs.
