Lifesight, a customer intelligence platform in Singapore, needed a way to process massive volumes of customer data and run fast ad hoc queries at scale. As its datasets grew to more than 4.6 billion non-personally identifiable data points per day, Lifesight turned to Google Cloud Platform, using products like BigQuery, Cloud Bigtable, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and GKE to support its data-heavy operations.

Google Cloud Platform, implemented with help from Searce, migrated Lifesight in phases over six weeks after a four-week proof of concept. The solution reduced average query processing time by 75%, enabled analysis of petabytes of data in minutes, supported 150,000 writes per second on Bigtable with 10 nodes, and helped organize 50 TB of data each month with Dataproc.
