Learnings Innovating classic mobile games supported by data-driven insights with BigQuery

Learnings, a Chinese mobile game developer with more than 10 games and about 70 million monthly active users worldwide, needed a stronger data analytics system to better understand player behavior, improve game features, and support global growth. To achieve this, Learnings adopted Google Cloud Platform, using BigQuery and related Google services to unify data and run deeper analyses.

With help from Google Cloud Platform and partner WebEye, Learnings built its data analytics and BI system in six months on BigQuery, with Cloud SQL and Cloud Storage supporting data storage and queries. The result was faster troubleshooting, more effective A/B testing, content download times cut from seconds to milliseconds, and user acquisition rising by more than 50%.
