A Google Cloud Platform Case Study
Kyber Network, the Singapore-based creator of KyberSwap, needed a way to handle rapid spikes in crypto trading demand without slow VM provisioning or downtime. Working with Google Cloud Platform, the company moved its decentralized exchange and aggregator to a Kubernetes-based architecture to improve scalability, reliability, and real-time trading performance.
Google Cloud Platform implemented Google Kubernetes Engine, Memorystore for Redis, and BigQuery to support auto-scaling, faster market data caching, and AI-driven market intelligence. The results included cutting trading latency from about 2 seconds to under 1 second, reducing infrastructure provisioning from 1 hour to 1 minute, eliminating outages during traffic spikes, and achieving 99.99% platform uptime with GKE.
