Ki Insurance set out to redefine the commercial insurance market for the digital era as the first fully digital, algorithmically driven Lloyd’s of London syndicate. To do this, Ki partnered with Google Cloud Platform to build a platform that could deliver quotes in seconds rather than days while handling complex specialty risks in a highly regulated environment.

Google Cloud Platform implemented a foundation built on Google Kubernetes Engine and BigQuery, helping Ki launch its digital insurance platform in under six months. The results included near-instant quoting, stronger data-driven underwriting, improved governance through audit trails, and up to 90% lower model training and retraining costs, enabling Ki to iterate faster and scale more efficiently.
