KASIKORN Business - Technology Group (KBTG), the IT enabler of KBank in Thailand, wanted to create a cloud-native budgeting app for younger Thais while accelerating its digital banking transformation. It chose Google Cloud Platform to support the MAKE mobile app, with a focus on innovation, experimentation, and scalable development.

Google Cloud Platform helped KBTG build and run MAKE using services like Flutter, Firebase A/B Testing, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Build, and Cloud Deploy. The results included scaling to 1 million total users and 500,000 monthly active users, shortening development cycles from months to weeks, zero downtime from cloud infrastructure, and an average app rating of 4.8/5 on Google Play.
