Karkinos Healthcare set out to close the cancer care gap for underinsured people in India, where many patients wait months after diagnosis to begin treatment. To support nationwide risk assessments, screening, and treatment coordination, Karkinos built its end-to-end oncology platform on Google Cloud Platform from the start.

Using Google Cloud Platform, Karkinos was able to scale low-cost cancer risk assessments, handle large genomics workloads, and support connectivity in areas with uneven internet access. The platform has supported more than 400,000 risk assessments, identified 12% as high risk, and onboarded over 70 partner clinics and hospitals, helping bring oncology services closer to patients across India.
