Kaebox Enabling seamless, sustainable shipping with Google Maps Platform

Kaebox is a U.S.-based app-driven shipping service that helps customers summon couriers and enables drivers to earn income by transporting goods. As its delivery business grew, Kaebox needed a more accurate way to handle pick-up and drop-off locations, improve driver allocation and routing, and reduce delays in its customer- and driver-facing apps. To address these challenges, Kaebox turned to Google Cloud Platform, using Google Maps Platform Mobility services.

Working with Google Cloud Platform and partner Searce, Kaebox implemented features such as precise pin-drop locations, real-time tracking, turn-by-turn navigation with live traffic, and vehicle matching to streamline operations in a single app. The results included safer routes, more accurate ETAs, fewer delivery errors, and a better customer experience, plus a measurable 12,000 new users in December 2023 alone. Kaebox also reported 14%–18% less distance traveled to complete the same number of deliveries, improving efficiency and reducing its carbon footprint.
