JOIN, a Switzerland-based recruitment software company, wanted to make hiring easier for small and medium-sized businesses with a freemium talent acquisition and applicant tracking platform. As it grew across Europe, JOIN needed a cloud foundation that could support rapid scale, keep costs low, and handle complex hiring workflows and integrations with major job sites. The company turned to Google Cloud Platform and its services, including Google Kubernetes Engine, to power the platform.

Google Cloud Platform helped JOIN build a simple but highly scalable infrastructure using GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Google Workspace. The result was a hiring solution that lets managers register in under 20 seconds and post jobs in under 2 minutes, while supporting more than 35,000 SME clients, over 100,000 active job ads, and around 6,000,000 requests per day. With Google Cloud Platform, JOIN also reduced infrastructure overhead so it only needs one DevOps engineer to manage operations, freeing the team to focus on growth and new features.
