Jayride Turns to BigQuery to analyze 1 billion rows of data and transform ride service sector

Jayride, a Sydney-based ride services marketplace, helps travelers find and book airport transfers, ride shares, sedans, and limousines across 1,500+ airports in 100+ countries. To support its global growth, Jayride needed a way to process massive amounts of location and trip data so it could deliver more relevant results and better match travelers with transport providers. It uses Google Cloud Platform along with Google Maps Platform services such as Places API, Directions API, and Google Maps.

Google Cloud Platform helped Jayride analyze 1 billion rows of data to improve its service, scalability, and cost efficiency. The solution enabled Jayride to better understand traveler needs, strengthen its market advantage, and support growth toward 1 million passenger trips by FY21.
