Jardine Restaurant Group, one of Asia’s leading food and beverage groups, needed a better way to use first-party customer data as advertising moves toward a cookie-less future. The company wanted to improve ROI on digital media spend and strengthen its direct-to-consumer strategy, so it built a Customer Data Platform on Google Cloud Platform, using tools like Google Ads, GA4, and Campaign Manager 360.

Google Cloud Platform helped JRG unify siloed data with BigQuery and use Recommendations AI and Optimize 360 to deliver more personalized marketing and shopping experiences. The results included a more than 200% increase in return on ad spend, a 12% lift in add-on rate, and an average order value increase of more than 30%, along with better A/B testing and more precise customer segmentation.
