InnovOrder, a France-based omnichannel food service software company, needed a way to handle surging order traffic during COVID-19 while replacing its limited on-premises infrastructure. The team wanted a scalable, low-maintenance platform that could support its restaurant and catering clients and speed up development, and chose Google Cloud Platform to power that transition.

Google Cloud Platform helped InnovOrder migrate to a serverless cloud stack using services like Cloud CDN, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Functions, Firestore, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub. The results included 200–300 ms lower latency, twice the development speed, automatic scaling from 200 million to nearly 400 million requests per month, and about 20% lower cloud cost than competitors, while also enabling real-time kitchen collaboration and supporting future global expansion.
