inline, a Taiwanese restaurant software provider serving more than 7,000 restaurants and 200 million users, needed a way to rapidly build and scale features for table management, reservations, queues, and delivery while keeping maintenance overhead low. To meet those demands, inline turned to Google Cloud Platform, using services such as Firebase and Google Kubernetes Engine to support its app and operations.

Google Cloud Platform helped inline launch and manage new capabilities with a small team, enable cross-device synchronization to prevent double bookings, and keep online reservations running smoothly even during traffic spikes of up to 50x. The company also used Google Cloud Platform tools to quickly add food ordering and delivery features in under three months, helping restaurants continue operating during COVID-19 while improving service efficiency and reliability.
