Intergamma, the largest DIY retailer in Benelux, needed to unlock customer data that was trapped in an on-premises, partner-managed warehouse and batch reporting setup. Its analytics were slow and opaque, limiting innovation and making it hard for analysts to query data directly or support real-time decision-making.

Looker was part of the broader Google Cloud data stack used by Intergamma as it moved to Snowflake on Google Cloud, alongside tools like Cloud Storage and Cloud Data Fusion. The new setup replaced overnight reporting with live queries and dramatically improved performance, cutting query time from 1.5 hours to 0.8 seconds—a 99.99% reduction—while also improving scalability and simplifying infrastructure management.
