iGuzzini, an Italian lighting innovator founded in 1959 with headquarters in Recanati and about €240M in 2017 revenue, needed a modern, scalable IT environment to support global operations and a collaborative workforce of 1,500. The company sought to replace its underused on‑premises ERP, improve integration, security, and provisioning times, and foster better internal and external collaboration.

iGuzzini migrated to SAP S/4HANA and SAP MII on Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, VPC) using the SAP Activate framework with partners Techedge and Innext, and rolled out G Suite for employees. The move delivered an integrated ecosystem with simpler disaster recovery, built-in scalability, and improved collaboration — driving an expected ~20% reduction in capital and operating costs, about 20% faster provisioning, and a platform for future IoT and machine‑learning initiatives.
