iamneo, a platform that helps student developers in universities and enterprises build job-ready skills, faced major scalability and cost challenges as its user base grew from early prototype failures under a monolith architecture to serving tens of thousands of students daily. The company turned to Google Cloud Platform, including support from the Google for Startups Cloud Program and BigQuery, to replace its costly legacy setup and better meet fluctuating demand.

With Google Cloud Platform, iamneo moved more workloads to an agile, serverless infrastructure, improved billing transparency with help from Searce, and used BigQuery to personalize learning through custom reports and student behavior analysis. The result was a more scalable platform that can handle spikes from about 40,000 to 100,000 users, better learning experiences for students, and a 15% improvement in cost management.
