HwaCom, a Taiwan-based broadband system integrator serving more than 830 enterprise customers, began its digital transformation to modernize internal coordination, secure file sharing, and manage increasingly complex collaboration tools. The company needed a more unified, secure solution than its disconnected email, calendar, and storage systems, and it chose Google Cloud Platform’s Google Workspace and cloud security services to meet its high information-security requirements.

Google Cloud Platform, with support from partner Microfusion, implemented Google Workspace and later expanded to Google Cloud services such as GKE, Cloud Storage, Cloud DNS, and Cloud Armor. The result was a one-stop collaboration platform that improved remote work and cross-team efficiency, reduced MIS maintenance workload by over 70%, shortened a new customer report process by one week, enabled an online corporate event for more than 700 employees across eight offices, and improved DNS reliability and application security.
