How Traveloka brings partners in for a smooth landing with APIs

Traveloka, an Indonesian travel and lifestyle platform serving customers across Southeast Asia, needed a better way to scale its partner integrations as it expanded into new markets. Before adopting Google Cloud Platform’s Apigee API management platform, its API setup was fragmented, difficult for partners to use, and slow to support new services, with partner API deployments taking up to three months.

Google Cloud Platform’s Apigee helped Traveloka standardize and secure its APIs, provide a developer portal and sandbox for partners, and improve monitoring, analytics, and rate limiting. As a result, new APIs can now be deployed in days, partner onboarding can take as little as two weeks, and Traveloka says it saved at least a year of development time while planning to add 20 more partners.
