Groupe Dauphinoise growing its customer base with Google Cloud Platform

Groupe Dauphinoise is a major agricultural cooperative in France’s Rhône‑Alpes region with 1,500 employees, 5,000 members and diverse operations from production to retail. As the business grew and many staff worked remotely, its on‑premises infrastructure hit capacity—adding storage was slow and costly, security was a concern with all servers in one room, and the cooperative needed better collaboration, disaster recovery and scalability.

Groupe Dauphinoise moved to G Suite and Chrome devices and migrated its infrastructure to Google Cloud Platform (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery and Cloud IAM) with help from partner GoWizYou. The cloud setup created a secure, scalable mobile workforce, cut hardware and ownership costs, improved disaster recovery, and sped sales-data queries tenfold, letting the cooperative focus on growing its customer base instead of expanding its IT team.
