A Google Cloud Platform Case Study
GreedyGame, an India‑based startup founded in 2015, provides native in‑game advertising across 100+ mobile games and handles about 3 million ad requests per day with a 30‑person team. The company needed highly available, low‑latency, content‑safe ad delivery that could scale to traffic spikes of up to 10x and avoid the overhead of managing physical infrastructure.
By migrating to Google Cloud Platform and partnering with Searce, GreedyGame adopted a microservices architecture using Compute Engine, BigQuery, Cloud Vision API and Stackdriver for targeting, analytics, image moderation and monitoring. The result: ~500 ms ad delivery times, zero downtime since migration, a 70% fill rate (vs. ~50% industry standard), VM instances cut from 200 to 100 to reduce costs, and reliable scaling for peak demand while serving 3M requests/day.
