GEEV, a French free classifieds sharing app, was growing quickly but struggling with outages, rising traffic, and a heavy maintenance burden on its small team. To support its app-first platform and future expansion, GEEV turned to Looker-related analytics plans alongside Google Cloud services, with implementation support from Op-Rate.

Looker was part of GEEV’s broader move to make data more accessible, while the core infrastructure solution centered on Google Kubernetes Engine. The migration improved stability and eliminated downtime for six months, cut maintenance from more than a day to about an hour a week, and allowed the team to handle traffic spikes of four to five times automatically so they could focus more on product features and growth.
