gamigo Staying ahead of the game with the power of Google Cloud

Gamigo, an online games publisher serving more than 100 million players worldwide, was struggling with a costly and complex infrastructure spread across 14 data centers. As the company grew through mergers and acquisitions, its technicians had to support dozens of games with very different server needs, and its physical servers were becoming too expensive and difficult to manage.

Google Cloud Platform helped gamigo move to a more reliable, scalable, and affordable cloud-based setup using Google Kubernetes Engine and Google operations for monitoring and logging. Gamigo migrated a major data center workload in just under a month, and the new services-based architecture made it easier to create, replicate, and scale clusters while reducing the burden of hardware maintenance and improving cost efficiency.
