Gamaya, an agritech company building a next-generation platform for sustainable farming with AI and machine learning, needed to cut the high costs of cloud-based big data imaging and GPU workloads. Using Google Cloud Platform, Gamaya was looking for a more flexible way to run large-scale virtual machines while keeping computing expenses under control.

Google Cloud Platform worked with Gamaya and its partner Wabion to optimize infrastructure and recommend Preemptible VMs for suitable batch workloads. This approach delivered major results, including up to a 70% reduction in cloud computing costs and an additional 80% cut in VM deployment costs for big data processing, while also improving operational efficiency by more than tenfold.
