Fort Bend Independent School District, one of Texas’s largest districts with 78,500 students across 80 schools, needed a better way to address student safety, bullying, and emergency communication across its campuses. Working with Looker and Now IMS, the district sought a unified, anonymous reporting and communication solution that could help administrators and law enforcement respond faster to threats and concerns.

Looker, through the broader Google Cloud-powered solution, helped support the “See Something, Share Something” app, which enabled real-time, anonymous incident reporting via mobile app or QR code and centralized safety data for analysis. The implementation improved visibility into threats across the district, supported coordinated communication, and delivered 1,088 downloads in the first two weeks after launch, giving Fort Bend ISD a measurable new tool for safer, faster response.
