FNM Group, Italy’s second-largest railway operator, is transforming from a traditional public-transport company into a broader mobility services provider. With aging on‑premises SAP infrastructure and limited worker mobility, the company needed a flexible, modern IT platform to support new services like car‑sharing and to adapt quickly to changing market demands.

Working with Innext, FNM migrated its productivity tools to G Suite and moved SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA to Google Cloud Platform, replacing on‑premises servers with Google Compute Engine, Cloud Storage and Virtual Private Cloud. The cloud-based platform gives FNM a scalable, secure environment, mobilizes 1,200 employees, reduces maintenance costs through pay‑for‑what‑you‑use pricing, and positions the company to leverage analytics and AI tools in future.
