Flowdesk, a France-based financial technology company, wanted to scale its crypto-financial services platform globally while keeping sensitive financial data secure and minimizing trading latency. To support its rapidly growing market-making, brokerage, custody, and treasury services, Flowdesk turned to Google Cloud Platform and its cloud infrastructure, including Google Kubernetes Engine and Looker.

Google Cloud Platform helped Flowdesk move to a scalable microservices architecture, secure data with Cloud Key Management Service, and process massive volumes of exchange data with BigQuery. The results included uptime improving from 99% to 99.9%, latency staying the same while the company scaled, reduced cost per market-making feed, and new client services launched six months ahead of schedule.
