Fenaco, a Switzerland-based agricultural federation representing more than 43,000 members through 165 cooperatives, needed to modernize its legacy SAP environment and lower IT costs. To do this, Fenaco worked with Google Cloud Platform and partner itesys to move critical SAP applications off on-premises infrastructure and prepare for broader cloud adoption.

Google Cloud Platform and itesys migrated Fenaco’s 10 TB SAP database to HANA and completed the full SAP landscape move to Google Cloud in just 12 hours. The shift improved performance and scalability, cut SAP infrastructure costs by 10–15%, reduced storage needs from 10 TB to 1 TB, and centralized operations onto a shared platform for better service delivery.
