A Google Cloud Platform Case Study
Ezakus, a leading data management platform in Europe, analyzes hundreds of millions of daily digital touchpoints from millions of users to deliver audience insights for advertisers and publishers. Rapid growth strained their previous provider — forcing Ezakus to manage hardware, contend with limited support and face performance bottlenecks that hindered scaling and service development.
In December 2013 Ezakus moved its Hadoop workloads to Google Compute Engine, completing the switch in two days. The platform now runs 1,000+ cores across hundreds of terabytes, processes ~600 million events daily, delivers 3–4x better processing speed than alternatives, and lets Ezakus provision hundreds of VMs in minutes — enabling stronger real-time predictions, expanded international deployments and a growing client base.
