Etapath needed a more reliable, scalable way to manage transport services after its self-built platform became labor-intensive, glitch-prone, and expensive as its customer base grew. The company struggled with manual booking, route verification, driver tracking, and unreliable data, making it difficult to scale efficiently. Etapath turned to Google Cloud Platform and Google Maps Platform Mobility to improve accuracy and reduce manual effort.

Google Cloud Platform implemented Google Mobility APIs, including the Routes API and live fleet tracking, to automate ride grouping, optimize routes, and provide precise estimated arrival times. The result was road-by-road visibility, turn-by-turn directions, and accurate cost-per-head calculations for shared rides of four to 12 passengers. Etapath also gained clearer fleet and employee visibility, with less manual checking and more dependable transport operations.
