BAZNAS, Indonesia’s national zakat agency, needed a better way to manage rapidly growing donation data and improve the quality of its collection and distribution decisions. Using Looker with Google Cloud analytics tools such as BigQuery, the organization moved beyond manual spreadsheets and gained real-time visibility into millions of zakat records.

Looker helped BAZNAS turn its data into intuitive dashboards while Google Cloud’s BigQuery enabled fast analysis, data quality checks, and operational insight. The results were significant: BAZNAS handled a 5-fold spike in Ramadan donations, produced results in hours instead of weeks, and rose to about 10% above its donation target, collecting more than 900 billion rupiah at HQ alone.
