Eldorado is a leading Russian retailer of home appliances and electronics with more than 600 stores across 200+ cities and growing international franchising. Facing increasing online competition, the company needed to better leverage customer behavior data to improve retention and optimise advertising spend, but its existing analytics and acquisition models couldn’t scale or deliver timely insights.
Working with OWOX BI, Eldorado moved its analytics to Google Cloud Platform using BigQuery and Cloud Storage, building a harmonised, real-time data pipeline that integrates with Google Analytics. The solution enabled faster responses (for example, basket reminder emails within an hour), cost-effective scaling, and a new attribution model—driving a 237% increase in email-driven revenue and making BigQuery data the basis for about 20% of online business decisions.
