Echo Investment, one of Poland’s largest real estate developers, needed a better way to understand how people moved through its Warsaw Breweries mixed-use development. The company wanted accurate foot-traffic insights for tenants, especially restaurants, and for investors, but manual surveys were too costly, limited, and error-prone. Echo Investment worked with Looker and its partner Aioniq to find a data-driven solution.

Looker helped Echo Investment and Aioniq build a monitoring system using cameras, TensorFlow, and BigQuery, with dashboards and reports in Looker Studio. The solution now delivers 24/7 real-time foot-traffic data, anonymized for security, at a fraction of the cost of manual counting. Echo Investment can use the insights to improve marketing decisions, share more granular information with tenants, and demonstrate the value of its projects to future investors.
