DOTComm serves Nebraska state employees with Chrome Browser and G Suite

DOTComm is the IT support and consulting arm for Omaha and Douglas County, Nebraska, serving more than 5,000 government employees across 120 locations. Facing the need to simplify remote access, improve connectivity for mobile staff, and reduce IT complexity while supporting two counties, DOTComm sought a more efficient, secure solution.

By standardizing desktop and mobile devices on Chrome Browser and adopting G Suite with Google Admin for security, DOTComm improved employee productivity and mobility, cut hardware and licensing costs, and streamlined administration. The move saved thousands in annual software fees, reduced infrastructure management headcount from six to one, dropped daily IT support tickets from about 30 to 1–2, and made onboarding faster and more cost-effective.
