Domino's Indonesia Expanding its business across a vast nation with Google Maps Platform

Domino’s Pizza Indonesia needed a better way to support fast delivery across a large, traffic-heavy archipelago, while dealing with inaccurate addresses, customer drop-off, and limited location intelligence for new store planning. Working with Google Cloud Platform and its Google Maps Platform services, with support from partner Searce, the company aimed to improve address accuracy, customer acquisition, and store site selection.

Google Cloud Platform helped Domino’s Indonesia redesign its mapping and location workflows using APIs such as Geocoding API, Places API, Place Details API, and Distance Matrix API. The result was a 30% reduction in maps billing, a 6% increase in conversion rate, and a 60% improvement in zone mapping accuracy, while incorrect address errors fell from about 50 per week to just one or two per month.
