DocNoc, a UK-based online doctor-on-demand marketplace, needed a secure, scalable way to launch its app quickly while supporting separate doctor and patient experiences, GDPR compliance, and built-in mapping to help users find nearby specialists. Working with Google Cloud Platform and implementation partner MediaAgility, DocNoc set out to solve the challenge of delivering fast, flexible healthcare bookings and consultations through video, home, and in-clinic appointments.

Google Cloud Platform provided the foundation with Google App Engine, Cloud Datastore, and Maps APIs, enabling secure data storage, rapid development, and location-based features such as distance mapping to the nearest doctors. The solution helped MediaAgility take DocNoc from idea to impact in 10 weeks, with a platform designed to scale seamlessly as the service grows; it already supported about 120 doctors and was built for unlimited future expansion.
