DIMEP, a large Brazilian company managing over 30,000 pieces of equipment and massive data volumes, needed greater cloud scalability and performance to support its growing operations. With Looker and Google Cloud services, the company aimed to keep its main application running smoothly with a small team while improving customer service availability and handling heavy traffic.

Looker helped DIMEP implement cloud optimizations including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) and Google Cloud Armor, alongside a safe migration of 20,000 databases. The result was a 3-point increase in Apdex, 37% cost savings versus the previous provider, and a jump in Google Play ratings from 2.8 to 4.6, while also improving reliability, security, and deployment speed.
