DenizBank Putting customers at the center with an innovative banking platform powered by Anthos

DenizBank, the fifth-largest private bank in Turkey, needed a way to scale its growing InterVision and mobile banking services while meeting strict Turkish data-residency requirements and supporting demand spikes. It turned to Google Cloud Platform, using Anthos to run a hybrid private-cloud environment that could support modern Kubernetes-based applications and keep customer data compliant and secure.

With Google Cloud Platform and Anthos, DenizBank moved its Turkish mobile banking solutions to a more scalable, automated setup that simplified upgrades and patching. The bank now handles about two million transactions per day and can absorb up to 5x traffic during holiday peaks, while also redeploying two full-time employees to higher-value work and improving application reliability for customers.
