Delivering a multilingual smart TV voice assistant with Dialogflow

VIDAA, a smart TV operating system and content platform provider, needed a voice control system designed specifically for smart TVs and capable of supporting many languages across global markets. To meet this challenge, VIDAA turned to Google Cloud Platform, using Dialogflow to build its own voice assistant rather than relying on general-purpose third-party assistants.

With Google Cloud Platform and Dialogflow, VIDAA launched a smart TV voice assistant in just six months, supporting 13 languages from a small team and later expanding to more than 20 languages using Multilingual Agent. The solution also enabled advanced TV features like content search and delivered over 93% voice intent detection accuracy, helping VIDAA improve user experience and grow its global reach.
