Dasa invests in ML to offer Brazilians an even smoother health journey

Dasa, Brazil’s largest integrated health network, needed a way to centralize growing volumes of data and make patient journeys simpler after multiple mergers and an increasingly complex operation. Working with Google Cloud Platform, using services such as BigQuery, Dataproc, Vertex AI, API Vision, and Document AI, Dasa looked to build a more connected, AI-ready healthcare environment.

Google Cloud Platform helped Dasa deploy an OCR solution on its Nav digital health platform that reads digital and handwritten prescriptions, speeding up test and appointment scheduling and reducing call center friction. The impact has been strong: over 700,000 prescriptions have been read, the platform serves nearly 360,000 requests per month, 97% of responses are under 15 seconds, and OCR-based scheduling has delivered a 10% higher conversion rate.
