Craveable Brands Dynamically updating store menu content and reducing data costs by 75%

Craveable Brands, the franchisor for more than 570 quick‑service restaurants across Red Rooster, Oporto and Chicken Treat (12,500 employees, ~150,000 customers daily), set out to "elevate" its restaurants by replacing static printed menus and improving employee access to data to support CRM, loyalty and targeted marketing. The challenge was to deploy a centrally managed, scalable way to update pricing, promotions and product displays across stores while giving marketing teams faster, broader access to decision‑ready data.

Working with Sakura Sky and StratosMedia, Craveable Brands moved to Google Cloud Platform and a StratosMedia content management solution delivered to Chrome devices, enabling centrally controlled dynamic menu boards, hybrid playback for offline resilience, and fast dashboarding in BigQuery/Data Studio. The move cut data costs by 75%, doubled performance on some queries, sped content and analytics delivery to marketing, and is already live in about 35% of Red Rooster stores with plans to expand and add real‑time analytics.
