Case Study: Corab achieves optimized solar energy consumption and faster fault diagnosis with Google Cloud Platform

Corab, a Polish manufacturer and distributor of photovoltaic systems, wanted to help customers use solar energy more efficiently while also gaining better visibility into how its products were being used. To do that, Corab launched the Corab One app, built on Google Cloud Platform, to address high energy costs, reduce carbon emissions, and connect more directly with end consumers.

Google Cloud Platform, with BigQuery at the core, helped Corab ingest and analyze PV-system data in near real time, giving users insights into energy production and consumption and giving Corab tools to monitor system performance and diagnose faults quickly. The result was lower energy use and emissions for customers, faster issue resolution for service teams, and new consumer data for Corab to support segmentation, personalization, upselling, and cross-selling.
