Connecting offline retailers with customers through data-rich experiences

Magicpin, a digital platform that connects retailers and customers, was struggling to keep up with rapid growth as its legacy database began crashing under increasing demand. With support from Google Cloud Platform, the company needed a more scalable way to handle cataloging, search, payments, and delivery while reducing infrastructure strain.

Google Cloud Platform helped Magicpin move to Cloud Bigtable and other cloud services, giving it the ability to scale reliably and avoid the need to hire specialized database staff. The results included a 400% increase in monthly transactions, from 10,000 to 40,000, and more than 30% in annual infrastructure cost savings, with additional help from Google Cloud partner Searce on migration, CI/CD, and security.
