Preview of the Comodule Case Study

Comodule Powering up a new era of connected, zero-emission transport

Comodule, an Estonia-based IoT and connectivity provider for light electric vehicles, needed a scalable way to power its fast-growing “Connectivity-as-a-Service” platform while staying lean and aligned with its sustainability goals. Using Google Cloud Platform, including Google App Engine, Pub/Sub, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, Dataflow, BigQuery, and Looker, Comodule connected e-bikes and e-scooters with real-time tracking and monitoring services.

With Google Cloud Platform, Comodule scaled its infrastructure through autoscaling and managed services, improved data processing and analytics, and gave employees easier access to reporting. The results include connectivity for more than 600,000 LEVs across over 60 cities worldwide, while helping the company remain agile and support carbon-neutral operations.
