CNR Improving service efficiency and user experience thanks to Google Cloud

Comisión Nacional de Riego, Chile’s National Commission of Irrigation, needed to modernize its on-premises infrastructure, which was hitting server capacity limits, causing latency, and making storage, backups, remote work, and data protection harder to manage. To improve service delivery for the agricultural community, the agency turned to Google Cloud Platform and products such as Google Cloud, BigQuery, Cloud Data Fusion, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, and Google Workspace.

Google Cloud Platform helped Comisión Nacional de Riego complete a phased migration to a fully cloud-based environment, strengthening operations, cybersecurity, and service availability. The results included an 18% reduction in costs, a 21% increase in user satisfaction, and a 300% growth in subsidy applications, while also improving scalability and enabling the team to manage far more users and projects with greater efficiency.
