Vibrant Credit Union is a member-owned financial institution serving communities in Iowa and Illinois with nearly $600 million in assets and a full range of consumer and business banking services. As it expanded into branches far from existing locations, Vibrant faced uneven staffing and long customer wait times—up to 40 minutes—and found its Microsoft-based tools inadequate for real-time collaboration and scalable videoconferencing.

Working with Google Cloud Premier Partner Cloudbakers, Vibrant moved to G Suite and built a custom Video Loan Officer (VLO) videoconferencing system on Google Cloud Platform and Chromebases, plus Drive-based apps (VAN and EDC). The changes saved about $20,000 a year by eliminating an intranet, cut wait times from ~40 minutes to under five, enabled branches to handle the same volume with 40–50% fewer staff, boosted customer satisfaction, and set the stage for future enhancements like e-signatures.
