Closing the skills gap and connecting people to social services with AI

Axis My India wanted to close the skills gap and make social services easier to access for people across India, but needed a secure, scalable platform that could meet strict data privacy and operational requirements. Working with Google Cloud Platform, and supported by Google Cloud’s Professional Services Organization (PSO), the company built its AI-enabled app and platform to serve a large and diverse user base.

Google Cloud Platform helped implement a cloud architecture using Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Load Balancing, AlloyDB for PostgreSQL, Cloud Storage, Cloud CDN, Firebase, Pub/Sub, and Google AI services like Vertex AI, Speech to Text, Text-to-Speech, Cloud Translation API, and Natural Language API. The solution improved performance, security, and accessibility, added voice and multilingual support across about 13 Indian languages, and positioned Axis My India to reach a potential audience of 250 million households.
