Chope Using Google Cloud to help people discover new restaurants, cuisines, and dishes

Chope, a dining platform operating across Singapore and several major Asian cities, needed a faster, more accurate way to analyze data and improve restaurant discovery for its websites and apps. After moving to the cloud, the company still struggled with slow, error-prone reporting and limited resources, so it turned to Looker and Google Cloud tools to strengthen its analytics and user experience.

Looker helped Chope build interactive reporting and dashboards on top of a new data pipeline using Google Cloud services, giving the team timely insights from about 775,000 records per day. With the broader Google Cloud setup, Chope launched a new search feature in just one month and improved restaurant discovery and personalization for roughly 1.5 million users and 3,000 restaurant partners.
