Casa della Salute is a growing private network of multi‑specialty diagnostic clinics in Italy that provides MRI, CT and other imaging services. Each of its four clinics had separate PACS and storage, making management and image exchange complex and slow — sharing images for second opinions or with physicians often took a day or more, limiting staff productivity and timely patient care.

To solve this, Casa della Salute worked with Google Cloud partner O3 Enterprise to deploy the ZeeroMED RIS/PACS on Google Cloud Platform, using Compute Engine, Persistent Disk, Cloud Storage and Firebase for secure access. The cloud solution enables diagnostic viewing and reporting from any browser or mobile app, cuts image‑sharing time from hours to minutes, scales storage easily (initially ~2 TB and growing ~5 TB/year), and strengthens security and GDPR compliance, improving staff efficiency and patient outcomes.
